Mexicanal and Nielsen sign agreement


Mexicanal TV network owned by Castalia Communications Corporation based in Atlanta and Cablecom of Mexico sealed an agreement with The Nielsen Company to get better ratings.

The weekly TV ratings and demographics for all the programs
of Mexicanal for Mexico, the U.S. and Canada is the spring to this agreement. This investigative package began in February it covers all distribution levels of Mexicanal, including cable transmission, satellite and digital. Nielsen developed this service a year ago to incorporate the growing number of digital channels in all of U.S.A.
"Obtaining the Nielsen´s national research was the logical step to take for Mexicanal as we advance with our distribution growth with new potential affiliate distributors" commented Luis Torres-Bohl, President and CEO of Mexicanal.
"We are constantly looking to better our service to our television audience and our advertisers. And this is just a small sample of our evolution as a network" finalized Torres-Bohl.
